App instructions

Set up orders, recipes, supplies, and payments.

A practical checklist for getting useful production and cost numbers from Microbakery Pro.

Recommended setup order

  1. Open Settings or Info and enter bakery name, Venmo details, and optional iCloud sync preference.
  2. Add supplies with purchase unit, package size, price, and reorder point.
  3. Create recipes and link recipe ingredients to supplies when possible.
  4. Add customer orders and set pickup dates, statuses, deposits, and balances.
  5. Open Bake Plan to review total dough, ingredients, batch count, and timing.

Orders

Orders can represent individual pickups, wholesale drops, markets, or inquiries. Confirmed orders appear in production planning and dashboard summaries. Paid, deposit paid, requested, and unpaid states help keep collection work visible.

Recipes

Recipes hold yield, sale price, ingredient amounts, packaging, labor, and overhead. Link ingredients to supplies when you want the app to calculate a more realistic cost per loaf or unit.

Supplies

Supplies can be weight-based or count-based. For flour, use the purchase weight and cost. For packaging, use count and package price. The app can show approximate pound equivalents beside kilogram quantities for easier shopping.

Bake plan

The bake plan is designed for production decisions. It summarizes what has to be mixed, how many batches are implied, how much starter may be needed, and how much oven time is committed.

Payments

Enter your Venmo username exactly as customers should see it. If Venmo asks the customer to verify the recipient, include only the last four digits in the app settings and request message. Microbakery Pro does not store bank information or process payments.

iCloud sync

iCloud sync is optional. When enabled, the app uses Apple iCloud key-value storage to make recipes, orders, supplies, pricing, and settings available to your Apple devices signed in to the same Apple ID.
